If you are a first time client we hope your experience at our therapy centre is really enjoyable. We aim to provide a relaxing environment free of any anxiety you may have about visiting a massage therapy centre for the first time. Will I need to get undressed?
Loose Judo type clothing will be provided for Thai Traditional Massage. For full body oil massage, you may keep underwear on if you prefer. Otherwise, the therapist will ensure that the provided towels are discreetly arranged.
How early should I arrive for my appointment ?
Please come at least 10 minutes before your appointment time. This will allow you to meet your therapist, relax and receive a mood setting foot spa before your massage.
What do you mean by qualified?
Ms Pitchapa Luelert qualified in 2001 as a practitioner, lecturer and trainer in the Thai Royal Standard of Traditional Thai Massage at a highly respected Traditional Massage School in Bangkok and she is also certificated by the Thai Government. Pitchapa managed a large Government run Massage centre and training centre in Bangkok for a number of years. She also managed a leading Massage Centre and Spa in a large resort hotel, where her responsibilities included the training of staff. In addition to the assurance provided by her high qualifications and many years of experience, Pitchapa also ensures that all her therapists are fully trained and have experience under her careful supervision. These qualifications, standards and experience ensure that you receive a safe, comfortable and beneficial massage every time at the Chiang Mai Luxury Thai Massage Centre.
Will Thai massage help me to deal with stress?
Thai Traditional Yoga Massage and Oil Massage are both very effective therapies for stress relief. The only way to discover which is the best for you is to try it. Full body oil massage is the most common therapy chosen for the deep relaxation which brings about rapid relief from stress and tension.
Do I need to tell my therapist anything?
During your massage let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort or would like special attention to a particular area. Good communication with your therapist will ensure that you get the very best experience from your visit.
How much will my massage cost?
A one hour full body massage is £45 and you can see the range of other prices on our Home Page. The prices at Chiang Mai are carefully set at an affordable level which cannot be matched anywhere else in central Manchester providing the same degree of skilled massage and comprehensive, friendly service. All our staff are genuine Thai therapists with the necessary training and experience. Before using any other therapy centre it would be advisable to check whether they have the same high standards and authentic Thai therapists.
Will my massage be provided by a male of female therapist?
Female. All our trained massage therapists are Thai ladies.
Can I have a massage if I have a medical condition?
You need to discuss your specific condition and requirements with your therapist. For many medical conditions like joint or muscle pain, back pain, arthritis, stress, tension, etc. therapeutic massage can be very beneficial. You can expect to get relief from pain, discomfort and other symptoms. As with all therapies, you should give full information to your usual doctor and your therapist then follow the advice that is given.
